Hey! I’m Ben Jacobi. I am a passionate nature/landscape photographer from north Texas. I started this Substack to share some behind the scenes and inner thoughts about my photography and my photographic process.
1. Why this, why now
Social media has made it all but impossible to get your content in front of your fans and followers. I’m looking to share my passion with as many people as possible.
2. What you can expect
I’ll be sharing my own personal thoughts and ramblings about photography as well as a behind-the-lens look at my photography and photographic/editing process. Think of it like a blog. I’ll post updates, share new photos, works in progress, I’ll even upload some videos!
3. Why you should subscribe
If you have an interest in photography, photo editing, or sasquatch-looking nature photographers consider subscribing so you don’t miss any of my posts. Maybe you’ll learn something? Or maybe you’ll teach me something. Either way, I want to grow a community of passionate photographers who are excited to learn.
4. What Does the Future Hold
I don’t know I’m not a fortune teller! But I can say that I will try to post an update once a week. For now, I’ll leave the content on here FREE and clear, but as I grow I may expand into other avenues and offer paid subscription services. Maybe I’ll have some live editing sessions, maybe some in-the-field work, maybe I’ll share my entire editing workflow, who knows?
